To provide the learner with an orientation to the relevant enterprise, industry
and work environment.

The length of time taken to complete a module will vary, depending on factors
such as teaching method used, knowledge and skills at entry and individual
participants’ ability.
This module provides for delivery on-the-job, off-the-job or by a combination
of on and off-the-job training in a variety of modes.
Some areas of content may be common to more than one learning outcome and
therefore integration may be appropriate.
The following delivery methods are suggested as those most likely to achieve
the module outcomes:
- practical exercises
- brainstorming
- small group work
Resource Requirements:
The learner will be provided with access to:
- all relevant hand-outs and resource materials/information
- public transport timetables and information on transportation
- street directory
- workplace policy and procedures.
