Description
This unit describes the skills and knowledge to plan and implement language learning activities in a formal learning environment with a support person. This unit is designed for adult learners of English as an additional language who have had little or no formal education.

The outcomes described in this unit relate to:
- The ISLPR (International Second Language Proficiency Ratings) descriptors for Speaking and Listening. They partly contribute to the achievement of Speaking 1 and Listening 1 and
- the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF). They contribute to the achievement of ACSF indicators of competence for Learning and Oral Communication at pre level 1 and Level 1.
