To develop skills in the application of colour
principles and processes to specific situations in
the retail clay brick and paving trade.

Flexible mode of delivery should include theory sessions
and practical exercises in a design studio as well as
simulations in the workplace.

Competency Based Assessment

Learners will be required to complete practical
colour tasks, participate in group discussions and
compile a research file of colour material relevant
to the clay brick retail trade. Performance during
practical exercises will be assessed through
observation and discussion groups of learning
outcomes will be assessed together during workplace
simulations.
