Competency Based Assessment
The trainer through observing the student will make an assessment of how the student performs skills and applies knowledge to complete the work activities.
The student will be required to display practical skills which may involve carrying out a specific task or procedure.
The student will be required to participate in a structured assessment exercise involving the organisation and achievement of a specific task which is resource based and which seeks to stimulate real life situations.
The student will be required to study a diagram, a paragraph of text, a picture, a plan etc. and answer a number of related questions.
The student will be required to answer a collection of questions in a few words.
The student will provide the answer to a selection of questions of no more than a few words.
