This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to use English as an additional language to participate in short spoken transactions.
It requires the ability to speak and listen using English language capabilities equivalent to ISLPR 1+ to engage in short simple transactions.
The unit applies to individuals from language backgrounds other than English who are learning English language and require speaking and listening skills equivalent to ISLPR1+.
