To give an overall view of the main
features of the Australian economy -
especially as they relate to the
Building and Construction Industry (eg.
employment levels, residential and
non-residential construction
activities, finance and credit, prices,
wages and rental movements and
government macroeconomic policies)
Through incidental discussions,
tutorials, to bring about a greater
awareness and better understanding of
current economic issues and problems.
Expose students to that level of
current economic theory, that will
enable them to better understand these
forces and processes which affect
