Description
The module will facilitate an understanding of the functions, processes and relationships involved in planning and executing air transport flight operations.
It will also focus on various preparatory methodologies in order to ensure safe and economic flight operations. This includes pre-flight calculations of aircraft performance and loading capability, as well as potential in-flight scenarios. Familiarity with heavy aircraft performance and limitations to a level required by operational situations encountered in modern air transport will be examined.
