Description
Students will develop an understanding of the processes by which law is made, interpreted and applied, sufficient to enable them to assess and explain a client's legal position. Students will have an opportunity to apply these principles and concepts in selected subject areas.
The aim is to enable students to identify issues and provide assistance. This assistance may be direct, through the provision of information, advice and advocacy. It may be more appropriate for the assistance you provide to be indirect. that is, to refer the client to another organisation.
