Description
To provide training in sewing machine operations involving the special handling skills required to accommodate material variations.

It is designed for learners to develop workplace ready skills in intermediate sewing machine operations.

On completion, learners will be able to position, feed and handle work involving directional changes, contouring and critical stopping points. This module will develop the learners hand and eye co-ordination skills.
Range of Variables
This module may be taught on or off-the-job, on-site (in-house) or off-site (externally) or by a combination of both using a variety of delivery techniques. Delivery should ensure that learning occurs within relevant clothing production contexts.
Evidence Guide
Learners will need additional skills practice to attain competency at industry standard level.
