Description
To enable learners to assess medium rise buildings (up to 25m effective height
and with a total floor area less than 2000m2) for compliance with building and
land-use standards.
Range of Variables
This module will include on-site observations with practical application of
theory related to study within this and other modules.
Evidence Guide
-Simulated projects and supervised testing

-Submission of written reports and other written correspondence

-Submission of formal written reports of a technical and administrative nature

The learner will be provided with:

-Access to appropriate documentation, relevant legislation and trade literature

-Access to construction site and existing buildings

-Regular on-site observations of building services being installed
