Description
To prepare students for the total
management of buildings in a property
management portfolio as follows:

- To develop an understanding of design and layout of
interior space of a building for maximising use and rental income.

- To develop sound project management techniques for
application to renovations; refurbishment; cleaning contracts and major
maintenance tasks.

- To be able to establish a system for carpark
administration.

- To outline a plan for the formation and management of a
Merchants Association.

Internal Assessment 20%

1 x two hour exam including short answer questions
on terminology and objective answers 80%

Internal assessment will consist of four short answer
tests, set by the lecturer. Each worth 5%.
