Internal Assessment 100%
Students are assessed by a field supervisor and a
TAFE lecturer on a pass/fail basis.
Competency-based criteria are set out on the
fieldwork assessment form.
Prior to placement, orientation tutorials are held.
Liaison between TAFE staff with students and field
supervisors on placement serves to clarify the
adequacy of the students' final placement.
During placement, students may attend weekly support
tutorials.
A failed placement must be repeated in the same or similar case setting at the
discretion of the TAFE staff. A second failure will constitute a fail in the
course.
