Description
To provide the learner with the necessary knowledge and
skills to be able to carry out basic (pre-colour) spray
painting operations on a vehicle panel and to apply
adhesive mouldings, decals and striping.
Range of Variables
This module integrates theory and practice. An emphasis
on applying the theoretical principles and processes in a
simulated "on-the-job" practical situation is essential.
Learners must apply the knowledge to practical tasks,
practising and developing the skills until competence is
achieved.
Evidence Guide
Knowledge Short answer test and/or multichoice - written, oral or
graphic, which may be paper or computer based.

Practical Practical exercises involving practising skills required
followed by end of module practical exercise which must be based on the
assessment criteria for each learning outcome.

Learners must demonstrate competence in all learning
outcomes to the assessment criteria standard, with all the
necessary tools and equipment supplied, with no errors
and without assistance (unless otherwise stated in the
learning outcome).
