Description
To provide competency based training for shearing shed hands in the range of
skills required to work in a wool shed when preparing wool for sale.

At the completion of this module learners will be able to prepare a shearing
shed for harvesting operations and perform board person and wool rolling
duties, and will be employable in wool sheds in Australia.

Assessment must be carried out by qualified assessors with a minimum
requirement of a Workplace Assessor’s Certificate.

Assessment will be on-job using a Skills Record Book.

To achieve these learning outcomes learners will require access to a working
(commercial) shearing shed and a qualified Assessor.
