At the end of the course, the student
shall be able to:
- Have a basic knowledge and understanding of research
methodology
- Formulate research problems relevant to welfare practice
- Assist in proposed research, in the fields of social
welfare
- Critically evaluate, analyse and derive implication for
practice, from existing research reports, particularly within the social
welfare field.

involved. The research design; sampling techniques;
research method; technique of measurement' data analysis.
