Description
To provide learners with:
Module 4/3: Roof Gutters
- An ability to identify and select guttering materials suitable for
residential buildings.
- An ability to correctly fabricate gutters for use on residential roofs.
- A detailed knowledge of regulations, standards and associated codes of
practice applicable to roof gutters (including AS2180: Metal Rainwater Goods
Selection and Installation).
- A detailed knowledge of the fabrication and installation requirements
for roof guttering on residential buildings and a practical understanding of
gutter installation methods and techniques.
- A comprehensive revision of the requirements for safe work on roofs.
- A demonstrated ability to correctly and safely fabricate and install
guttering on actual/simulated residential building roofs.
- A comprehensive revision of protective clothing/equipment requirements
applicable to installation of roof gutters.
