Description
To enable students to apply a contemporary focus on
the evolution of traditional corroboree into
contemporary forms of Aboriginal cultural
performance.

To equip students with the necessary technical skills and experience to create
an Aboriginal soundscope, using Traditional and/or non-traditional instruments
in a contemporary mix of music.

To allow students the opportunity to participate in
the creation of a corroboree style presentation,
integrating music, song and dance in a contemporary
form.

To develop the skills, experience and discipline required to mount the public
production of a created contemporary "corroboree".

To encourage students to develop a capacity for
self-criticism, for post-performance evaluation, and
a readiness to edit own work.
