Internal Assessment 100%
Continuous assessment by the fieldwork
supervisor at the centre based on the
student's ability to satisfy a set of
performance criteria established for
working with children in a care-leisure
capacity. The performance criteria are listed in a booklet supplied to
the supervisor. This list will be completed by the supervisor during the course
of the fieldwork and discussed with the student.
Assessed on a pass/conditional
pass/fail basis according to the
scoring criteria set out in the
booklet.
The completion of practical assignments undertaken while on fieldwork.
- Diary
- Write-ups of five planned activities
- Answering questions on centre organisation and layout.
Students must obtain a conditional pass
or higher in both sections of the
internal assessment.
