Welding Practice, as required for AS1796 -
Certificate 10 and AS2214 - Supervisor's
Certification.

One three-hour essay examination, consisting of:

Part 1 - Two hours covering Code requirements of
AS1796-1983 Certificate 10. 50%

Part 2 - One hour covering Code requirements of
AS2214 Supervisor Certification. 50%

NOTE: Candidates are permitted to refer to Australian Codes of Practice,
references and WTIA technical notes during both papers. Such reference
material is to be set by the examiner, and communicated to students at least
eight weeks prior to examination.
