safely with low-level radioisotopes and/or radiation emitting equipment.
Range of Variables
This module has the capacity to be delivered either on-the-job or by a variety
of modes off-the-job.
For full-time learners, the module hours should be ideally sequenced over a
semester period to ensure adequate time for skill acquisition and intermodule
reinforcement.
Where delivery is via block release, learners require prior access to open
learning materials covering all theoretical and safety aspects relating to the
use of radioisotopes and non-ionizing radiation sources.
