By the end of the subject, the student
should be able to:

To enable the student to explain the
process by which property risks are
assessed, without access to written
material.

To enable the student to explain the purpose and structure of a fire survey
report and, given examples, prepare a fire survey report and assess the risk
potential involved in those examples.

To enable the student to list and
explain the physical factors which
should be taken into account when
assessing the risk potential of
property, without access to written
material, and, given a proposal for
Property Insurance, assess the risk
potential.

To enable the student to explain how the degree of risk in Property Insurance
can be increased through inadequate security provisions or maintenance
procedures without access to written material.
