Description
To enable students to analyse statically determinate
structures and draw shear force and bending moment
diagrams for such structures. Also, the student
will be able to calculate axial and bending stresses
(and combinations thereof).

This module was developed jointly by the Water
Authority of Western Australia and DEVET. No
changes are to be made to this document without the
knowledge of the Water Authority of Western
Australia.
