Description
To become familiar with heavy plant daily service
checks and procedures.

To demonstrate ability to operate an industrial
plant machine - either a grader, bulldozer, backhoe
loader or articulated loader - in a safe and
proficient manner.

To become aware of all aspects of safety when
operating heavy plant machinery.

To develop initial skills in calculation of
measurement and area.

To develop understanding of soil types pertaining to
earthworks construction and soil conservation.
