Description
To introduce the student to the
numerical control of machine tools
through the development of control and
programming systems. Present day
applications highlighting economic
considerations, and future trends
towards direct computer control are
included.

One two hour examination

Write part programs and produce six
relatively simple articles as outlined
in student objective No 8. The six
projects to be spread across the range
of NC machining available at the
college.

A pass is required in both the examination and practical components.
