Description
To undertake a work experience placement in the workforce in order to put newly acquired skills and knowledge into practice.
To gain hands-on access and training on a range of equipment, technology and workplace skills relevant to the field of study but not available off-the-job.
To recognise the relevance of subject material in a classroom setting, by providing a real work situation in which to apply their skills/knowledge.

Assessment will consist of two components - a report by the employer/supervisor on the learner's work experience performance and assignments completed by the learner before and after undertaking the work experience. A pass in both components is necessary.
