Description
Students should:
- be prepared for the common emergencies that could be
expected to develop in a laboratory situation.
- demonstrate safe working procedures in the laboratory, and
an awareness of general safety and protective equipment.
- demonstrate correct techniques of use, and care of basic
laboratory apparatus.
- accurately prepare common standard bench and side-self
solutions, and prepare dilutions of these standards.
- demonstrate competence in matters concerning the ordering,
storage and register of materials and stock.
