To provide foundation studies in the Patternmaking
trade.

Certificate of Trade Studies Awarded Marks
To be eligible for this certificate, an apprentice
must reach a 50% pass standard in the composite
theory mark and practical mark for each semester
object.
The composite theory mark shall be calculated by the following formula:
Theory examination x 0.4 + Calculation examination x
0.3 + Drawing assessment x 0.3.
Privileged Re-Examination
A privileged re-examination may be granted on the
recommendation of a Board of Review, when the
practical assessment is satisfactory.
