To enable students to maintain their innate
rhythmical sense while consolidating the development
of strict, accurate timing.
To provide an opportunity for students to explore
their innate sense of rhythm and to use it in a
variety of performance situations.
To enable and encourage students to broaden their
range of musical expression and to foster the
development of their individual styles.
To provide students with knowledge of a range of
tuned percussion instruments.
