Description
To produce contract drawings of medium
rise commercial and industrial
buildings.
To examine and develop a system of presenting complex detail information for
multi-level commercial buildings.
To combine and consolidate all facets
of contract requirements, i.e. working
drawings, services and specifications.
To further examine the uses of CA
Drafting/CA Design, particularly the
use of library elements and
reprographic techniques.
NOTE:
Students are to be given the option of producing further project work, in lieu
of traditional drafting methods on a CA Drafting/CA Design system.

Folio and Exercises
The folio submission must contain assignments
covering all student performance objectives.
The folio must include at least 2 x A1 sheets of
project work produced on a CA Drafting/Design
system.
As part of the folio submission, a major project incorporating all the student
performance objectives in a complete contract set, must be included. The
project will be a medium rise (2-4 storey) commercial building.
Three projects @ 20% each 60%
One major project 40%
