Evidence Guide
Internal Assessment 100%
In order to gain a pass in Keyboard Techniques, the
student shall display resourcefulness and
organisational ability, given:
- a maximum time allocation of one-and-a-half hours.
- four related typing tasks in correct typescript or
non-confused manuscript.
- sufficient stationery* to attempt each question twice, so
that a useable copy of a letter in any approved style (no file copy); a
memorandum (no file copy); a display document; and a table (horizontal lines
only) are produced within the time allocated.
*Stationery may be continuous (A4), if in a WP
environment, the printer/s does/do not support the
use of cut sheets. Therefore, letterheads are not
required. However, students must alter top margins to conform with the
setting out of correspondence on letterhead paper.
