To provide students the opportunity to:
- recognise and analyse the group process.
- apply the theory of groups to workshop activities.
- assess the impact of individual behaviour upon the group.
- demonstrate ability to plan and lead a group activity.

Journal/Workbooks 50%
Students are to submit a journal which will consist
of three parts:
- a brief outline of the group exercise
- an analysis of the group process using theory
- students' own response in the group.
Journal 250 words approximately per week to be
written in class time.
Group Activity Plan 20%
Students must submit a group activity plan relevant
to their choice of group concepts, from controversy,
conflict, power, team-building and norms.
Lead Group Through a Group Exercise 30%
Students will be allocated a group, and lead them
through the activity that has been previously
submitted and approved.
