Description
This unit will extend the students'
theoretical understanding of recreation
and its importance in the lives of
disabled people. It will enable
students to assess the recreation needs
of clients, review resources available
and develop appropriate programs in any
of the areas of home, integrated or
segregated recreation. The student
will become more aware of the personal
and community issues relevant to
