To provide the participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills:
- for the storage and handling of medications within the legal framework and current guidelines
- to assist client to self-administer their medication
- to administer prescribed medications and to monitor their effectiveness within the context of relevant legislation and established guidelines
- to document whether clients take their medication
