To extend the students understanding of
the uses for computer technology and
equipment in the R & AC Industry.
To give experience in the use of
computers with system batch files,
integrated packages including
communications, setting up of hard
disks on PC's, hard disk menu systems,
program design concepts, R & AC design
programs, computer control systems,
building management systems.

the following topics:

- Supply print-out of Menu Drive Batch file and describe the
logic of operation for a Hard Disk
- Using an integrated package, merge data from the spread
sheet section and data base into the word processing file
- Create a design package to calculate R & AC data and store
it to disk, describe its full design concept and, with a flow sheet, show its
operation
- Create a work page on a typical BMS system to show the
operation of part of a typical airconditioning system.
