Description
To enable Automotive or Allied tradespersons to apply a fundamental
understanding of electronic theory, terms, and componentry to the operation of
electronic systems employed on the motor vehicle.

Theory

A two-hour examination at the end of the semester
will require students to demonstrate their
understanding of the concepts taught during the
course. Questions are to be based on objectives
contained in this syllabus. 80%

Assignment

The assignment will involve researching information
pertaining to the operation of a nominated
automotive electronic system. It will enable the
student to demonstrate an understanding of how
electronics may be employed to process an incoming
voltage to achieve the desired output voltage. 20%
