Description
To instil in the student, attitudes conducive to the
efficient use of tools, with particular emphasis on
safety.
To offer upper high school students an opportunity to gain hand skills useful
in the general area of mechanical assembly and maintenance using basic
handtools.
To develop in the student the sensori-motor and
cognitive skills needed for the correct operation of
basic hand-held power tools.
To provide a tradesman-orientated approach to the
efficient usage of basic machine tools.
