To provide an overview of the Screen-
Printing Industry.
To Introduce the principles and
practices required to complete basic
designs and layouts.
To provide students with the knowledge
and skills to select suitable frames
and mesh fabrics, and prepare screens
and handcut stencils.

tests during the semester. Assessment
will include short-answer, multiple-
choice and diagram identification

The final theory percentage mark shall
be calculated using the following
formula:
Test mark x 0.9 x Notebook x0.1 100%
Practical
All practical subjects to be submitted for assessment.
Average percentage mark of student
performance for practical objectives.
Assessment will incorporate correct use
of equipment and safe working
practices.
Certificate of Trade Studies
To be eligible for this Certificate, an
apprentice must obtain a pass standard
in each stage for both the Theory and
Practical components.
Privileged Re-Examination
A privileged re-examination may be
granted on the recommendation of the
Board of Review, when the practical
assessment is satisfactory.
