Description

This module provides the student with the industry specific skills and knowledge required to operate safely as a telecommunications employee.
Range of Variables

The delivery of this module will require one of two sets of circumstances.

These are either:

1. Workplace in which the work conducted includes
activities relevant to the learning outcomes of
this module.
The learner must have access to:
. a workplace mentor (or trainer) who has experience in
the work relevant to this module.
. an opportunity to carry out the work relevant to this
module under the supervision of the mentor
. the time necessary to conduct this work.
. regular contact with a nominee of the training provider
who can moderate the learning experience.

or

2. A simulated workplace in which work relevant to
this module can be conducted in a realistic setting.
The learner must have access to:

. other individuals with whom they can interact realistically
in the context of the module.
. equipment and materials

The student will be required to display practical skills which involve carrying out a structured assessment exercise involving the organisation and achievement of a specific task which is resource based and which seeks to simulate real life situations.
