Description
This unit describes the reading and writing performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required by adult learners of English as an additional language to read and write a range of simple, routine digital and print informational and instructional texts relevant to employment.
The outcomes described in this unit relate to:
- The ISLPR (International Second Language Proficiency Ratings) descriptors for Reading and Writing. They contribute directly to the achievement of ISLPR Reading 2 and Writing 2
and
- the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF). They contribute directly to the achievement of ACSF indicators of competence in Reading at Level 2 and Writing at Level 2.
