Description
To provide the learner with the knowledge required to:
- assess the possibility and duration of instrument meteorological
conditions
- use relevant documentation to plan a flight under instrument flight
rules
- carry out the procedures to be employed when conducting an IFR flight
- identify the characteristics of and operational procedures employed
when using radio navigation aids and aircraft equipment used in the conduct of
IFR flights
- plan a flight to be conducted under the Visual Flight Rules at night.
