Description
To understand the layout, safety features and operation of an efficient
workroom, recognise and know the use of all floristry tools, containers, and
mechanical aids, know the duties of a Junior Florist, and understand the
management of a coolroom.

To assemble and cost simple types of cut flower
presentations, according to industry requirements.

The student will be able to wire different types of
flowers and foliage for funeral work and assemble firmly and artistically
simply types of funeral tributes; to advise customers of available alternatives
and calculate the retail cost of each item.
