Description
To familiarise students with the tools of trade,
skilled procedures and materials of the following
trades. Carpentry and Joinery, Bricklaying and Plastering.

An examination or continuos assessment from each of
the 3 trades at the end of each training session.

The average of the total of the three to be the
final mark.

Students are not required to reach any standard of
Trade proficiency but must be able to pass simple
tests required by the Trade Lecturers.

Demonstration by the Trade Lecturers is expected and
"hands on' work by students is encouraged where
desirable.
