Description
This course introduces the techniques, processes and concepts of Fashion and Textile Design and begins to engage learners in aspects of current industry practice. It provides foundation skills and knowledge in the design field and is a pathway to further study in VET and Higher Education.
Packaging Rules
Total number of units = fifteen (15)
- seven (7) core units plus
- eight (8) elective units of which:
- five (5) units must be selected from electives listed below
- three (3) units may be selected from the remaining listed electives or any currently endorsed training package qualification or accredited course at Certificate III, IV or Diploma level.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid vocational outcome.
