1.
The Western Australian Department of Training & Employment (WADTE) and approved Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) will be participating in a pilot program in 2001 for entry level training articulating into apprenticeships. The RTO must be specifically approved by the WADTE and the Metals Consortium (WA) to access the funding for the pilot program listed below. This is not general enrolment or VET in Schools. The pilot will be monitored to ensure the outcome is achieved. The overall pilot qualification will be 794 hours which include Structured Workplace Experience and Structured Workplace Training co-ordination. The pilot will be in two phases.

PHASE 1 will incorporate the following **CORE**
