ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING CORE ELECTIVES: Learners to select either (43501) Embedded Systems or (43585) Single Chip Microprocessor Controllers and EA050 Engineering Computing or EA903 Industrial Computer Ststems and either EA180 Data Communications or EA120 Computer Networks and either EA183 Microprocessor Fundamentals 1 or Microcontrollers 1 and either EA184 Microprocessor Fundamentals 2 or Microcontrollers 2 and either EA 187 Introduction to C or Introduction to Java Programming and either EA070 Engineering Organistations or EB075 Customer Client Relations and either VBB231 Digital electronics 3 or EA185 Digital Applications and either EB177 Microprocessor Applications 1 or EB127 Interface Applications using C and either EB070 Engineering Management or EB031 Quality Management or EB071 Project Management and either EB180 Digital Design 1 or Bus Devices and Programmable Logic and either EB121 Analysis and Design Project or EB050 Engineering Project to complete the core requiements.

ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING ELECTIVES: Learners to select electives from group 03 in addition to the generic core, MS49 core to equal a total course requirement of 39 full modules. In selecting the modules some conditions apply to some modules. That is, the learner choose only one in either EB172 Satellite Communications or NUE153 Cellular Broadcast Systems or either EA001 Calculus or Advanced Engineering Maths or either NE027 Advanced Solder Technology or NUE127 Surface Mount Soldering Skills.
