A total of 22 units of competency must be completed:
- Complete all 20 core units in Group A
- Select 2 additional units from the Animal Care and Management Training Package and/or endorsed Training Packages

Electives chosen must be aligned to the qualifications at AQF level IV, V or VI and must be relevant to work undertaken in the Animal Care and Management sector.
