The minimum requirements for achievement of the Certificate I in Textiles, Clothing and Footwear are completion of six (6) units comprising of:

- Three (3) core units PLUS
- Two (2) units from the Clothing Production specialist units PLUS
- One (1) open elective which may be selected from
- Other Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Training Package units at AQF levels I & II
- Other Training Packages at AQF levels I & II
