**CORE** As indicated in the Metal and Engineering policy document as part of the Metals and Engineering Training Package qualifications, this qualification follows the same packaging rules as the Engineering Certificate III "Trade" qualifications (Compulsory Foundation and Core units, plus 40 points (360 hours) of stream units, plus 36 points (324 Hrs) of specialisation elective units). The requirement for the awarding of a Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction is demonstrated competency in units to a minimum points value of 96 (864 Hrs) according the the structure listed below.
