Schedule
Packaging Rules
The requirements for awarding this qualification are that the following are successfully achieved:All of the ten (10) Core competency standard units;
At least two (2) Stream Core competency standard units
In accordance with Schedules 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, achieve a Unit Strand Total of at least eighty (80) of which up to 4 shall be selected from Schedule 2, up to 48 from Schedule 3-4, and at least 28 from Schedule 5 or above. **The Electrotechnology Training Package UEE07 must be consulted for a list of units in Schedules 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and the Unit Strand value of units ; and
All the required prerequisite Competency Standard Units have been met as required
Note:
1. Prerequisite pathways shall be identified and met for all elective units selected.
2. In selecting elective units considerations to career planning advice should be given to units that form part of a prerequisite pathway for the progression to achieve particular competencies or qualification at a higher level.
3. **In addition to Core units and Stream Core units (listed below in Groups 1 and 2) students must complete Elective units according to the rules given above
4. Registered training organisations shall also provide information related to the relevant pathway(s) that may be taken to achieve paraprofessional status ("associate membership") with a professional engineering membership organisation.
