To achieve the Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Printing) learners must complete eighteen (18) units including at least five (5) at "c" level or above. OR sixteen (16) units including at least 1 at "c" level and two (2) at "d" level. PLUS ONE appropriate holistic knowledge component (C3262 or C3266)(not counted in formula for certification). Learners to complete C3262 ICPKN12A -Demonstrate Knowledge & Requirements of Printing Machining OR C3266 ICPKN16A - Demonstrae Knowledge & Requirements of Paper and Printing Processes. * Learners may select from Groups 1 to 7. *

GENERAL NOTES

1. This qualification is a representation of the qualification ICP32199
taken from the Printing
and Graphic Arts Training Package which should be consulted for full
descriptions of its
requirements ICP 32199 endorsed till the 28/02/2002.

2. A selection of additional competencies are required to complete a
maximum of 910 hours.

3. This qualification is the copyright of The Australian National
Training Authority. RTO's who
wish to deliver this qualification must be registered by their
State accrediting body.

5. This course was entered on to the CMS by Central TAFE on 07/12/2000.

6. This qualification was amended by Central TAFE on 27/03/03 to reflect the structure as outlined in the Australian
Printing and Graphic Arts Training Package by deleting groups 1 & 2 and adding them to original group 3
(now group 1) and deleting unit C3385 Perform Laboratory Quality Test of Material and Finished Product .
